Saxon Retreat

When we moved into our home August 2018 we prioritized renovation of our kitchen and the primary bathroom as the cabinets needed the most work. Over the last few years we have finally finished the primary shower and bath tub as well.

We chose a warm mixed marble countertop and tub surround to give a uniform look. Notice the mitered edges on the tub siding along with inside the shower. The oversized niche allows us amble options for bottles and elevates the space. We stuck with polished nickel plumbing hardware finishes with brass cabinet hardware to stay warm and traditional. The best part of our bathroom is the herringbone Zellige tiles in the shower, the custom backsplash on the tub & the small mitered edges around the entire space gives it that polished feel.
